Sam Stephens

Sam Stephens passed away peacefully on the evening of January 26, 2023, at the age of 78.

Sam was well known around Salado, Texas for his dedicated work ethic. He owned and ran a successful air-conditioning company for over 30 years. He treated his customers with great love and respect, and they thought of him as family.

Sam had a great joy for fishing. Most weekends you could find him at the lake with an assortment of plastic worms and swim baits. This was his “happy” place. He enjoyed camping at Lake Fork with his wife and family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sam is survived by his wife of 58 years, Madge Stephens, as well as his children, Sam Stephens, Sandy Stephens, and Ronda Curtis. In addition to his wife and children, Sam is survived by his grandchildren, Wade Stephens, Owen Stephens, Samantha Stephens, Megan Stephens, Casey Kaminski, Emily Robinson, and Walker Stephens.

Sam will be greatly missed!
