Aline Hendricks was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 after a long illness. She was 87 years old. Aline was born in Estherwood, Louisiana on February 6, 1930 to the late Ed and Louisiana (Semore) Comeaux. She lived in Louisiana and Orange, Texas before moving to Belton in 1965. She married Everett Hendricks on January 6, 1946 in Orange, he preceded her in death in 1968. Aline worked as a cook for many years at various restaurants including Green's Sausage House and the Salado Truck Stop. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
Aline loved playing Bingo and going to casinos and her favorite snack was Diet Coke and Peanut M&M's. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to music but above all she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hendricks; her parents, Ed and Louisiana Comeaux; 4 daughters, Mona Bridges, Donna Hendricks, Beverly Sanders and Nila Campbell; a brother, Sweeny Comeaux and a sister, Sylvia Myers.
Those left to cherish memories of Aline are her two daughters, Neta Kolls and Patricia Goodwin; 10 beloved grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Aline will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Chaplain Sara Miller officiating. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to the funeral service.
