Ambrocio Benavidez

Services for Ambrocio Butch Benavidez, 64, of Belton are 2:00 pm Friday at North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Benavidez died Sunday evening at his residence.

Born to the late Alfredo and Beatrice Garza Benavidez on September 18, 1949 at Alice, TX. He went to serve in the US Marine Corp as a Corporal from December 1969 until December 1972. He met Charlotte E. King and they were married on December 21, 1984 at Belton. He retired from the VA Hospital in Temple.

His parents and a son, Melton Cole Morris preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte Benavidez, of Belton a daughter and her husband, Rrena and Thomas Patterson of Austin brothers, Alfredo Benavidez, Jr. of Cameron Thomas Benavidez, Sr. of Belton, sisters, Mary Dominguez of Belton, Gloria Gonzales of Belton, Viola McCann of Oklahoma grandsons, Kyler and Hunter Patterson of Austin granddaughter, Rachael Morris of Marble Falls 8 nephews 9 nieces 16 great nieces nephews and 10 great great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 68 pm Wednesday at the Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
