Angelina Corona, age 51 of Belton, passed from this life Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Angelina was born on June 30, 1971, to Hermilo Corona Garcia and Esther Cisneros Escobedo in San Isidro, Michoacan, Mexico. She was an extremely hard worker and was very determined. If she wanted to do something, she would find a way to make it happen. Angelina was someone who always brought people together for celebrations or even sometimes just for some good food. Whenever someone was sick or in trouble, she would always do her best to visit or help them in any way she could. Angelina could always find a way to persevere through any situation. And, if you did her a kindness, she would always repay it tenfold. Angelina was a Whataburger Team Member and made lots of life-long friends along the way. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Angelina loved nature and traveling. Her life goal was to travel the world. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially watching her children play sports. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, and crocheting. She also liked to spend time outdoors gardening. She enjoyed putting together puzzles, singing, dancing, and playing sports. She loved cooking and baking. Angelina was a devout Catholic and spent a lot of her time praying. She was a member of Christ the King Guadalupanos.

Angelina is preceded in death by her parents, Hermilo Corona Garcia and Esther Cisneros Escobedo; brothers, Camerino Corona, and Antonio Corona; and sisters, Lorenza Corona, and Carmen Corona.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Adolfo Corona; sons, Adolfo Corona, and Luis-Angel Corona; daughter, Jacqueline Corona; brothers, Gilberto Corona, Camerino Corona, and Luis Corona; sisters, Maria Corona, Guadalupe Corona, Elvia Corona, and Josephina Corona; and granddaughter, Mariella Corona.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 6 pm Monday, May 22, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
