Anna Thomas

Anna Pearl Thomas, 73 of Belton, was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, July 13, 2020. Graveside services will be held at North Belton Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM.

Anna entered this world on October 14, 1946 in Temple, Texas to Charles James and Amanda (Dupree) Davis. She was a Chaplain in the prison ministry for the Texas TDC Units until her retirement in 2004. She then continued to do the work of a public servant, ordained and Lic. in Moses House of Prayer in Belton, Texas. Anna’s favorite saying was “Trust God and lean not to your own understanding.” Anna loved the Lord and she loved and rescued animals.

Anna was preceded in death by her father, Charles James Davis; mother, Amanda Dupree Davis; and son, Robert W. Frey.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Pearl; and daughter in-laws; Erica Lane-Pearl and Jamie Wills.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of arrangements.
