Annie Gibbs

Funeral services for Annie Laura Gibbs, 91, of Belton will be private.

Annie was born on June 14, 1921 to the late James Irvin and Sarah Matilda Strickland Furnace at Belton. She graduated from Mary Hardin Baylor College and worked for over 30 years as an administrative assistant in her sons law practice in Belton. She married W.H. Gibbs and he preceded her in death.

She died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.

Survivors include her family, Michael, Katherine, Gabriel and Katie Gibbs all of Belton.

The family suggests that memorial be made to the Lena Armstrong Public Library in Annies memory.
