Annie Calzada Quintanilla

On Thursday, September 21^st, 2023, we lost a loving wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and an overall firecracker of a woman. We shared and will forever cherish many memories. All of the talks on the patio, camping adventures with fishing and crabbing as a must, and her being the vibrant woman that was full of life. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends, and family with all of her heart. She will be missed and forever in our hearts.

Annie Calzada Quintanilla, age 65, was born on September 4, 1958, to Julio and Lucille Calzada in Rockport, Texas. She married Frank Quintanilla and they have shared 47 years of marriage together.

Annie is preceded by her parents; brother, Julio Calzada, Jr., and grandson, Matthew Dewayne Skelton.

Survivors include husband, Frank Quintanilla; brothers, Thomas Calzada, John Calzada, Chris Calzada, and Randall Calzada; sister, Lisa Calzada; sons, Eusebio Sanchez, Jr., Jose Luis Quintanilla, and Tayven Jamal Quintanilla; daughters, Jamie Lynn Rodriguez, Amy Lynn Gauna, Nataya Quintanilla, and Renee Quintanilla; grandchildren, Bianca, Megan, Miracle, Kobe, and Jaece Sanchez, Alec, Dante, Taehya, and Alyssa Rodriguez, Seth, Zechariah, and Michael Gauna, Marissa, Alyssa, and Sabastian Quintanilla, Richard Boone, Gavin Jones, Jensen, Jayden, Jaxon, Joseph, and Axel Gann, and Laythen and Novaleigh Quintanilla; great grandchildren, Malachi Poe, Zachoryah Rodriguez, Alec L. Rodriguez, Cooper Bass, and Jasper and Lilly Sanchez; son in laws, Rudy Gauna, and David Capps; and daughter in laws, Christina M. Sanchez, and Monica Quintanilla.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton Monday, September 25, 2023, with a visitation starting at 3 pm and memorial service to follow at 4 pm.
