Armando Rendon

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary for Armando "Guero" Garcia Rendon, 74, of Belton will be held 6 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Belton, 503 N. Main Street.

Armando passed from this life on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at a local care facility. Mr. Rendon was born on February 12, 1944 in Uvalde, TX to Juan and Mercedes Rendon.

Armando has made Belton his home for most of his life. He was a hardworking man that did whatever he could to provide for himself. He was a migrant worker and laborer, working on jobs from here to Minnesota. Armando was catholic by faith and it was his faith that kept him going in his day to day life. Above all else, Armando's greatest treasure in life was his family. Having many siblings and nieces and nephews, he enjoyed conversation and bickering with one another. He also enjoyed reminiscing with family and friends of the good old days. Armando will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Mr. Rendon is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his brothers, Jose Rendon, Santos Rendon; sisters, Susie Hernandez, Dolores Gloria, and Alberta Delarosa; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends that were very special to him.
