Ava Lewis

Graveside services for Ava Lewis, 80, of Belton will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Moffat Cemetery.

Ava was born on October 9, 1932 at Winnsboro, Louisiana to the late John Wright and Idella Richardson Smith, Jr. She married Wesley Harold Lewis on December 3, 1953 at Neches, Mississippi and he preceded her in death. She owned and operated Avas Place Restaurant in Belton for many years.

Mrs. Lewis passed Sunday morning at her residence in Belton.

Survivors include three sons, Wesley H. Lewis, Jr. of Marble Falls, Ronnie W. Lewis of Belton, John W. Harold Lewis of Charleston, SC two daughters, Trudy Mitchell of Belton, Angle Kelly of Belton two sisters,, Reba D. Philly of Oak Grove, LA, Bertha Clark of Monticello, Mississippi, eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 68 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Heartfield Funeral Home.
