Barbara Yarbrough

Barbara Kay Yarbrough, 76 of Belton, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. In celebration of her life, there will be a ceremony at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton at 11 am on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Barbara was born on March 12, 1943 in Springfield, Tennessee. Our mother is remembered for her laugh and humor and for the many sacrifices she made for her family.

She is survived by her son, Robert Hudson of Redington Shores, Florida; her daughter, Shelley Schetat and son-in-law David Schetat of Belton, Texas; 6 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jean Carpenter of Nacogdoches, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence Pitt; husband, Henry L. Yarbrough; and sister, Anne Moore.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Baylor Scott & White Hospice.
