Ben Thomison

Funeral services for Ben F. Thomison, 89, of Belton will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Pastor Harry Thrasher and Pastor Ronald Rhoades will be officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery.

He passed away Saturday at his home.

He was born November 1, 1926 in Sparta, Texas to Marion F. and Orby (Bruton) Thomison. He was an Army Veteran who served in the Army during World War II as a Military Police Guard. He worked as a welder for 64 years. He married Nell Lewis on August 4, 1945. He was a long time member of the 1st Assembly of God in Belton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marshall Thomison.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Thomison of Belton; a son, Jerry Thomison of Belton; a daughter, Judy Thomison of Belton; a brother, Barton Thomison of Belton and a grandson, Scott Thomison of Belton.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
