Bobby Stewart

Services for Bobby Glynn Stewart, 79, of Belton will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Stewart passed away Saturday, June 14 at a local hospital.
Bobby was born on February 24, 1935 in Brownwood. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1953. Bobby moved to Killeen in 1960 and stayed in the Central Texas area for over 54 years. He served in the U.S. Army and reached the rank of Major before his retirement. In 1988 he married Mary Ellen Cushing. Bobby loved life and never said one bad word about another. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and how he started conversations with a joke.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Stewart a daughter, Sonia Stewart 6 stepchildren one brother one sister and 12 stepgrandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at the Killeen Bowlerama on Wednesday after the graveside service.
