Carol Kelley

Carol Louise Kelley was born April 5, 1945 in Electra, Texas to Carl L. and Blanche (Oneata) Tipton. She was surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 22, 2017 when she passed away at a local hospital. She was 72.
Carol attend school in Electra and graduated in 1963. During her first marriage she was a supportive and proud military wife. She was able to travel the world following her husband's military career. She was a hard worker and held many jobs along the way, her favorite being the many years she worked as a bus driver at Friendswood ISD. She enjoyed the children and getting to visit with them each day.
Carol was a faithful Christian and longtime member of the United Pentecostal Church. She loved to play the piano at church and served the lord by always helping those in need.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved having her family together during Christmas. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kelley; her parents, E.L. and Verba Joy Holley; and a sister, Barbara Minton.
Those left to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Eric Bradley and James Kelley, Jr.; 2 daughters, Kim Chipagua and Rebekah Shuck; 2 brothers, C.L. Holley and Greg Holley; 2 sisters, Linda Faulkner and Karen Wehrle; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
