Carroll Asbill

Carroll Allen Asbill, 85, of Belton died February 17, 2014 at a Temple Hospital. Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday at Heartfield Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:00 pm Saturday at Elm Cemetery in Rains County.

Born on September 11, 1928 to the late Donald and Lottie Glass Asbill at Wilson, Oklahoma. He entered into the Navy and served during WWII and the as a Marine during the Korean War. He married Dorothy Arnold on September 11, 1946 in Houston. Mr. Asbill was a Plastic Manufacture entrepreneur. He was a Mason, a Gideon, and a Deacon of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Asbill of Belton a son and his wife, Richard and Ursula Asbill of Belton a daughter and her husband, Lori and Sam Long of Austin a sister, Pat Dealy of Dallas grandchildren, Courtney Chance, Kelsey Long, McKenna Long, Roman Asbill three great grandsons, Joseph, Judah, and Jacob.
