Curtis K. Culp, 95, of Temple passed away on August 24, 2013 at a local care facility. A service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 at the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Burial will follow the service at the North Belton Cemetery pavilion.
Curtis was born to Louie Thomas and Beulah Scott Culp in Elgin on February 20, 1918. He married Floy Easter Tucker on June 7, 1941.
Curtis was a World War II veteran in the US Army where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a carpenter and 50 year member of the carpenters union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister.
Survivors include his daughters Darlo Sue Sylvester , A.M. Williamson and Lola Mae Smith 5 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
