Danny Thomison

A celebration of life for Danny Barton Thomison, 62, of Belton will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton with Roger White officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Danny was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away on Wednesday, June 06, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Belton on November 19, 1955 to William Barton and Annie Mae (Puckett) Thomison. He attended Belton schools. Danny proudly served in the US Air Force from April 12, 1977 until June 11, 1981. He previously worked for Mrs. Baird's and Rainbo Bread Company and most recently worked as a truck driver for Texas Enterprises. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Danny enjoyed music and played the guitar. He also liked antique and fast cars. Above all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Danny will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie M. Thomison.
Survivors include his 3 sons, Barton Thomison and wife Kathie, Joshua Thomison and wife Kathy and Cody Thomison and wife Brittania; his father William Barton Thomison and step-mother, Corine; 2 sisters, Mildred Foster and husband David and Ruby Ashlock and husband Delbert; step-sister, Cori Burk and a step-brother, Benny Chrisner. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Jessica Wessel, Jennifer Mashburn and husband Bryan, Jordan McReynolds and husband Charlie, Jill Brooks, Dayln Thomison, Stayle Thomison, Davin Thomison and August Thomison; and 4 great-grandchildren, Blake, Keelan, Levi and Lesleigh Jane.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Kindred Hospice or American Cancer Society.
The family will receive visitors from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the funeral home.
