Eleanor Ann Segrest, 93, entered into eternal peace on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Eleanor Ann, Ann, was born on September 17, 1919, the daughter of the late Otho G and Mary Ruth Kaiser. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1936. She married and remained lovingly married to, Victor Joe Segrest, until his death. Ann was a lifelong member of the Nolanville Church of Christ, devoting time to the womens bible study and volunteering for the church. Ann was very kind, she had a loving and generous heart. Ann enjoyed giving to and visiting Medina Childrens Home in Medina, Texas. Anns passion in life was sewing, needle work and her yard. Ann began needle pointing when she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer and she continued for many years Anns needle point pillows are a testament to her survival of breast cancer. Ann spent hers days working in her yard. If you ever stepped into Anns yard, it was as if you stepped into an English Country Garden. Ann was an expert horticulturist, and nothing brought her greater joy.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Victor Joe Segrest in 1991 siblings, Wilson Gus Kaiser in 1978 and Ned Young Kaiser in 2011.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving brother, Charles Otho Kaiser of Nolanville and sisterinlaw, Mildred Kaiser of Temple, along with many other adoring family members.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Nolanville, Texas.
