BELTON -Estella Boyd, 95, of Belton died Thursday, April 28 at a local nursing facility surrounded by her family.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home chapel in Belton.
A private burial will be held in Lexington, Texas.
Mrs. Boyd was born on September 15, 1920 in Portland, Oregon to Wilbur Royal and Lulu Barkham Royal. She was raised in Oregon, relocated to Houston Texas, where she retired from Exxon in 1971. She later settled in Belton, Texas where she owned and operated a local bait and tackle shop "The Spot" until 1985.
She married Lloyd P. Boyd on January 10, 1945.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers Avery, Bill and Leon Royal.
Survivors include two daughters Terry Leschuck and Ivanna Boyd; a son Leon Boyd, all of Belton, a brother Ronald Royal of Bandera, Texas;
8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
