Graveside services for Frances Copeland, 92, of Belton will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2012 at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton. John Roark and Bob Crowder will be officiating.

Mrs. Copeland passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at a local hospital.

Frances was born on August 14, 1920 in Oenaville to the late Don Allen and Nannie Mitchell Thompson. She married Ford Copeland on April 9, 1938 in Nolanville. Frances was a past president of the PTA in Belton schools and a Den mother for both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. Frances played the piano for the Sunshine Kids Senior Group and for Keys Valley Baptist Church. She was a member of Keys Valley Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband one brother, Claude Thompson two sisters, Louise Reed and Earlene Hollman.

Survivors include one son, Donnie Ford Copeland and wife Shirley of Belton one daughter, Zonna Kay Chenoweth and husband Leo of Belton four grandchildren, Donnie Ford Copeland, Jr., Tracey Holleman, Kristi Chenoweth and Gregory Chenoweth three greatgrandchildren, Shelby Copeland, Wesley Ford Copeland and Brady Holleman and her cat, Squeaks.

The family will receive visitors Friday, October 26 from 6:008:00 pm at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Keys Valley Baptist Church, 4393 W. US Highway 190, Belton, Texas 76513.
