Frieda Kirkpatrick

Frieda Kirkpatrick, a beloved mother and cherished Oma, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the age of 83. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, and loyal woman who dedicated her life to her family. Graveside services will be held at 9 am Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Born on May 12, 1940, to Josef and Stefanie Klauser in Aislingen, Germany, Frieda brought joy into the world from an early age. As she grew older, it became apparent that her true calling in life was to nurture and care for her children. Nothing made Frieda happier than being with her beloved family. Beyond her role as a devoted mother, Frieda had many passions that enriched her life. She loved dancing with her husband to their favorite songs. Knitting was another way she expressed her creativity while simultaneously creating treasured heirlooms for loved ones. Additionally, Frieda had a green thumb and found solace in tending to her beautiful garden filled with vibrant flowers.

Frieda is preceded by her parents; her loving husband, James R. Kirkpatrick; her brothers, Sep, and Shori; and her sisters, Gertrude, Josephine, and Maria.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughters, Elizabeth K. Jack, Marie Cherivtch, and Laura Kirkpatrick-Lopez; brothers, Sikie, and Fritz; sisters, Lina, and Fanny; 5 grandchildren, Jeanette, Kristina, Brian, Jameve, and Steven; and 13 great grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Zoey, Landon, Nathan, Mila, Saraya, Hayley, Jill, JR, Tristan, Annabelle, and Jema.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 pm, Monday, November 27, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
