Services for Harlan M. Fuller, 97, of Temple will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec 3 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. James Haney Officiating.

Burial will be in the North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Mr. Fuller died on Sunday, Nov 27, at a local hospital.

He was born on Mar. 6, 1919 in Williamson County near Granger/Bartlett to Willie Davis Fuller and Cora Hall Fuller. He was raised on the farm and finished high school at Troy, Texas in 1938. He married Nina Marie Cosper on May 3, 1941. They were married for 66 years before her death on Feb. 2, 2008. They had four children.

Survivors include two daughters Anita Fuller of Temple, TX, Morris Marie Whitacre and her husband Lewis of Mesquite, TX and two sons Harlan (Mick) Fuller and his wife Tina of Tampa, Fl, Arthur Fuller of Morgan's Point Resort, TX; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Mr. Fuller was called into active duty in 1940 and served throughout WWII with the 36th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Silver Star and Croix de Guerre and seven major battle stars. He retired from the Army National Guard in 1964 after 21 years of service. He retired from Civil Service, Department of Defense with 32 years of service. He served as the Municipal Judge of Morgan's Point Resort, TX from August 1976 to May 1990.
