Harry Shook

Mr. Harry Clinton Shook, age 80 of Temple passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. A funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Burial will be at Central Texas Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen at 2:00 PM.

Harry Clinton Shook was born in San Antonio, Texas to his parents Chester and Mildred Mosley Shook on January 29, 1939. Harry's life revolved around his family, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and taking them on vacations, he was known for being a workaholic. He served in the US Army for 20 years before retiring. Later working at the United States Post Office.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lester Shook; and sister, Sandra Shook.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Betty Shook; one son, David Shook; four daughters, Laurie Moore, Deborah Truelove, Leslie Merolillo, and Carolyn Shook; one brother, Harold Shook; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren; also left to cherish his memories are many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
