Heidi Ziegeler

Heidi Ziegeler, age 54 of Gatesville, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.

Heidi was born on November 7, 1967, to Benjamin Hille, Jr. and Patricia (Chapman) Hille in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She is the 5th of 6 girls in her family. After high school, she married John Ziegeler in July of 1986. Heidi became a travel agent after school and quickly moved up to managing Corporate Travel Accounts within the US and Internationally.  Heidi graduated from the University of Incarnate Word.  The family traveled around the United States and Europe with John being in the military. They settled in San Antonio after John’s retirement and had their daughter Nadia, born in December of 2003. They moved to Gatesville for more of a country life and have been there since.

Heidi is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Hille, Jr.; and grandparents, Irene & Ben Hille, Sr. and Mae & Arthur Chapman, Jr.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, John Ziegeler and daughter Nadia Ziegeler; granddaughter, Macie Lunae Ziegeler; Mother, Patricia Hille; sisters, Teresa Malcolm, Amy Hille, Sharon Anderson and husband, Jeff, Stacie Combs and husband, Chuck, and Dayle Hille and many nieces and nephews.
