Helen Miller

Helen J. Miller,78, of Belton died Thursday, March 7, 2013 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship Church, 14788 Hwy 439 in Nolanville with Danny Brey, Joe Baisden and Matthew Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in North Belton Cemetery.

Helen was born at Pecos on March 12, 1934 to the late Blake and Madeline Gamel Barton. She graduated high school in Holland. After moving to Belton she married Ed Miller, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard Durling, Billy Durling and Jimmy Barton.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Miller of Belton two sons, Keith Miller of Temple, Terry Miller of Troy a brother, Gene Barton and wife Sheila of Greenville daughter in law, Tamara MillerLack of Comanche six grandchildren, Krystal Jenkins, Barton Miller both of Nebraska, Logan Miller of Comanche, Darcey Miller of Temple, Blake Miller of Troy, Katonya Miller of Troy and one greatgrandson, Trig Miller of Nebraska.

Should you desire, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Soldiers of the Cross Cowboy Fellowship Church in Nolanville.

The family will receive friends from 68 pm Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
