Services for Henry E. Brown, 74, of Belton will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Killeen Memorial Park in Killeen. Sammie Kimble will be officiating.
Mr. Brown passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at a local hospital.
Henry was born on August 11, 1939 in Jackson, Mississippi to Henry Brown and Lula Mason. Henry served in the US Army for 26 years 15 years active duty and 11 years in the National Guard, and retired from M.A.T.E.S. in Gatesville. He earned a Bronze Star while serving in Vietnam. He also worked as a mechanic for Raytheon Areospace in Waco. On November 20, 1975 he married Caecilie C. Mueller in Nierstein, Germany, she preceded him in death in 2012. Henry lived in Killeen for 9 years, and in 1986 he moved to the TempleBelton area.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Caecilie C. Brown and his parents. Henry Brown and Lula Mason Brown.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Kordula Jesberger of Temple, Texas a brother, Stanley Brown of Seattle, Washington a sister, Ardis Brown of Seattle, Washington 3 stepgrandchildren and 3 step greatgrandchildren nieces, Marion Jones of Temple, Tanja LaSalle SotoMueller of Deleware, Pamela, Melissa and Rosemary of Seattle a nephew, Melvin of Seattle.
The family will receive visitors Friday, August 15, 2014 from 6:008:00 pm at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel.
