Jack Cartwright

Graveside services for Jack Leroy Cartwright, 77, of Morgan's Point Resort will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at North Belton Cemetery.
He was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at a local nursing facility.
Jack was born September 16, 1940 in Rochester, Indiana to the late Walter and Bessie (Chalk) Cartwright. He attended school in Rochester. Jack married LaDonna Sue Wetzel in Rochester, she preceded him in death in November 1965. He worked in maintenance at H.O.P. Transportation for ten years before his retirement. He has lived in Belton since 1978.
Jack enjoyed restoring old trucks, fishing and hand feeding the deer that visited his yard. He cherished time spent with his family and he will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan R. Utter.
Survivors include his son, Donald L. Cartwright and wife Maria of Italy; daughters, Vicki L. Losher and husband Mark of Indiana and Brenda L. Massey and husband Kenneth of Houston; sisters, Connie Connor and Gladys Crain both of Belton; 4 beloved grandchildren, Amber Welk, K.J. Massey, Emmanuel Cartwright and Davide Cartwright and 5 precious great-grandchildren, Dominick, Cowen, Grayson, Mason and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
