James Harris

Graveside services for James Pops Harris, 80, of Belton are set for 2:00 pm Tuesday at North Belton Cemetery with Brother Darren Rich officiating.

Mr. Harris was born on September 5, 1932 to the late Walter Edward and Josephine Safley Harris at Temple. He retired from Wilsonart in 1994 after 26 years of service.

Pops attended the Belton Church of Christ and Temple Bible Church and was a member of the Sportsman Club, Centex Bass Club, Wilsonart Bass Club and loved wood working.

He died Saturday afternoon at his home in Belton.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law James Bubba and Lisa Harris of Belton daughter and her finance, Debbie Harris and Robert Weissert of Belton a sister, Cecile Brown of Des Moines, IA two grandchildren, Emily Sebek and Joe Sancedio.

The family will receive friends from 68 pm Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
