James Slack Jr.

James (Jim) Leroy Slack JR.,58 of Belton, TX passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at his daughter's home while surrounded by loved ones. Jim was born on February 25, 1958 in Caney, KS to James Leroy Slack Sr. and Fannie Bell Robison.

Jim loved to fish, no matter when or where it was one of the things that made him the happiest. More than anything else Jim loved his family. He was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left to honor and cherish Jim's memory are his parents; stepmother, Dorothy Slack; daughter, Monique Brown; son, Keith Ehler; seven sisters, Barbara Cruz, Dorothy Slack, Misty Slack, Patricia Peavy, Anita Butler, Wanda Parris, and Alberta (Squeaky) Johnson; a brother Danny Allen; six nieces, Stacy Butler, Tammy Butler, Tabitha Loeffler, Sheila McWilliams, Shelley McWilliams, and Sheryl Jean May; three nephews, Jorge McWilliams, Nathan McWilliams and Danny Ray and four grandkids Riyan Moore, Justin Valois, Sierah Moore and Dylan Ehler.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Harper-Talasek of Belton, 503 N. Main St. Belton, TX 76513.
