Jimmie Evelyn Miller Garner, 91, of Palestine passed on July 23, 2013. A funeral service will be held Thursday July 25 at 3:00 p.m. in the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jay Thomas presiding.
Jimmie was born in Temple, TX on June 11, 1922 to Joe H. and Julia Hellums Miller. She married Freeman Harris Garner Jr. on September 19, 1949.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Palestine.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Freeman Garner brothers Jack Miller, Joe Miller, and Billy Miller.
Survivors include son Joe Garner daughter Judy Jimmy Frye grandsons Jeremy Lindsey Frye and Jeffrey Frye.
