Johnie Dossey, 73, of Belton, TX passed from this life on Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born in Bartlett, TX on March 29, 1943 to Weldon and Ollie Dossey.

Johnie was raised in Belton for most of his life. He worked many years for Ridgewood Country Club in Waco as a grounds keeper. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Johnie is survived by his sons, Johnnie Dossey, Jimmy Dossey, David Burtchell; daughter, Diane Bradford; brothers, Buster Dossey, Dub Dossey, Tom Dossey, Jim Dossey; sisters, Ruth Hall, Marie Atkins; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation and fellowship will take place at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Belton, 503 North Main Street, Belton, TX 76513 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Monday August 29, 2016.

Graveside services will be at North Belton Cemetery, 1500 North Main Street Belton, TX 76513 at 2 PM.
