Julie Marie Farnsworth, 32, passed away at peace in her home on February 4, 2013 in Harker Heights, TX. She was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. Julie attended Mayfield High School, Masters Commission, Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX, and graduated from Northwest Christian University in Eugene, OR with a Bachelors Degree in Music Industry and Psychology. She was currently employed by Killeen Independent School District at Manor Middle School as an Interventionist. She was looking forward to becoming a special education teacher in the very near future.
Julie loved her friends, family, and her husband, Joshua Farnsworth, with a dedicated, unconditional love. She really enjoyed spending time with her neices, Lacey and Hailey Bernier. She spent her life loving people, planning fun hunts, making jewelry, painting, writing, singing, and producing music. She enjoyed the outdoors of the Northwest Coast very much especially playing her guitar around a campfire on the beach, tent camping, and riding quads on the dunes.
Julie was a treasured wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was adored by her husband, Joshua Farnsworth, her parents, Reggie and Katie Horn, her grandmothers, Norma Horn and Lou Ella Roberts, her older sister, Angela Bernier, her brotherinlaw, Joe Bernier, and her two neices, Lacey and Hailey Bernier.
Though it saddens our hearts to say an early fairwell, we are rejoicing that she is now with her son, Dekaiah Jaeden Horn, in Heaven today worshiping the Lord with her angelic voice while holding tightly to her son. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Faith Point Church in Killeen. The family will receive visitors from 6:008:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
