Katy Falkenberg

Funeral services for Katy F. Falkenberg, 61, of Temple will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.
She passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Katy was born in Temple on October 16, 1954 the daughter of Lonnie Curtis & Flossie Florine (Lawson) Pruitt. She was a lifelong resident of the Temple/Belton area.
Katy spent her life creating loving home and caring for her family. She cherished time spent with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Falkenberg; 3 brothers, Jimmy Pruitt, Lonnie Pruitt and David Pruitt.
Her survivors include 4 daughters, Terry Gerber & husband David Homan of Olgesby, Fanchion Mejia and husband Douglas of Leander, Obie Falkenberg and husband Patrick Arguelles of Temple and Flossie Lopez and husband Charles of Temple; 2 sons, Dennis Gerber of South Dakota and Kenneth Austin of Fort Worth; 1 brother, Lonnie C. Pruitt, Jr. of Temple; 4 sisters, Barbara Rutledge of Belton, Connie Pruitt and Johnnie Pruitt both of Temple, and Barbara Pruitt of Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton.
