Kenneth Meadows

March 13, 1958 — November 16, 2018

A Memorial Gathering honoring the life of Kenneth C. Meadows, 60, of Temple will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Belton, 503 N. Main Street.

Kenny passed from this life on Friday, November 16, 2018. Mr. Meadows was born on March 13, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Vince L. and Wilma Jo Meadows.

Kenny has lived in the Central Texas area for 30 plus years. He was born and raised in East Texas. Mr. Meadows was a true salt of the earth type man. He was a kind and hardworking man. He was raised Baptist and was a faithful Christian. He attended First Baptist Church of Rogers when he was able. He was in his element while working the land or working to fix things with his hands. He loved caring for and training horses. He loved baseball and football, especially if his grandchildren where playing. He was a wonderfully supportive father and grandfather when it came to being present at sports and other school actives. He was also a big fan of the Fightin' Texas Aggie football team. Kenny was a great story teller who always had a good one to tell. He was also a legendary prankster. Most of all in life his family was his greatest treasure. He was at his happiest when surrounded by family. Kenny will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Marty Meadows.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his sons, Vince Meadows, Dustin Meadows, Dean Scott and wife, Karrie; daughters, Dawn Motsinger, Jennifer Scott and husband, Chris; brother, Bobby Meadows; sisters, Lajuan Thompson and husband, Mitch, Linda Adams, Patricia Dickenson and husband, Charles, and Carolyn Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; as well as many other beloved friends and family.
