Graveside services for Larry Douglas Webber, 65, of Belton will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at North Belton Cemetery. Bro. Jay Thomas will be officiating.
Mr. Webber passed away Monday at a local hospital.
Larry was born on July 9, 1950 in Clay Center, Kansas to the late Bob Webber and Mary Maxine Brannen. He joined the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He earned a Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Sharpshooter medal. Larry moved to the Belton area in 1972. He married Erma J. Wolf on August 1, 1972 in Bell County. He was a certified welder and worked as a roofing superintendent before his retirement in 2008.
Survivors include his wife Erma Webber, of Belton; 3 sisters, Kathy Schumock and husband Rick, Tina Webber and Terry Kerr; 1 brother, Bill Kerr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish his memory are his many hunting brothers and dear friends.
