Laura Marrs

Funeral services for Laura P. Marrs, 83, of Belton will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor John Heckmann officiating. Burial will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery in Moody.

Mrs. Marrs passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at a local care center. Laura was born on June 21, 1929 in Childress to Grady and Roxie Gilliland. She attended school in Boyd. Laura married Carson K. Marrs in 1950. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1998. She has lived in the Central Texas area all of her life. She was a Lutheran.

She was preceded in death by her parents her husband one son, Albert Marrs one brother, Marvin Gilliland and one sister, Mozelle Stephenson. Survivors include 3 daughters, Virginia Morris, Betty Sue Marrs and Shirley Glenn all of Moody 2 sons, Caleb Marrs of Georgia and James Marrs of Temple and one brother, Floyd Gilliland of Childress. The family will receive visitors from 1:002:00 pm on Monday, February 25, 2013.
