Leopoldo Martinez

Funeral services for Leopoldo Martinez, 85, of Temple will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 21 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Burial will follow at Temple Garden of Memories.

He passed away Sunday at a local care facility.

Mr. Martinez was born in Live Oak County on August 17, 1930 to the late Amado and Cruz (Della Santos) Martinez. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Cleotilde Martinez; 2 sons, Noal Martinez, David Martinez and wife Melissa; 4 grandchildren, Brittianie Doland, Braden Martinez, Baylee Martinez and Tristan Martinez; one great- granddaughter, Ella Doland; 1 brother, Eusevio Martinez and 2 sisters, Juanita Ganceres and Eva Hinojosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 20th from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
