Lillian Doris Wilhite, nee Hunt, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023, at the age of 102 in Belton, Texas. She was born on October 8, 1921, in Bell County, Texas. Lillian was a beloved homemaker, dedicating her life to her family and creating a loving home for them.

Lillian was a selfless and generous woman, known for her quick wit and strong-willed nature. Her Godly spirit and sweet demeanor endeared her to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lillian's family was at the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Sandra Wilhite Watson, and her husband, Larry. She is also survived by her grandsons, Dustin Wilhite, Perry Speaker and his wife, Mariellen, John Speaker and his wife, Mandy, and Shawn Watson. Her granddaughters include Lorie Thatch and her husband, James, Sara Watson, Cory Watson, Michele Watson, and Anna Shaw. Lillian was also blessed with great-grandchildren, including Aiden and Katie Conover-Wilhite, Chesni and Andi Speaker, Jackson and Lillian Speaker, and Scout, Rookie, and Rebel Thatch, Autumn and Desiree Licht, James and Jonathan West, Lilly, Aaron, Tristan and Jaydon Lyons, Isabella Bright, Nikki Cyphers and Danielle Watson.

Lillian was preceded in death by her beloved husband, June Wilhite, her daughter, June Doris Wilhite, her daughter Betty Sue Speaker and her husband, Leonard Speaker, her son Danny Randall Wilhite and his wife Dixie Wilhite, and her son Victor Paul Wilhite.

Lillian found solace in her faith and was an active member of the Belton Church of Christ. Her devotion to her religion brought her comfort and strength throughout her life.

In her free time, Lillian enjoyed various hobbies, including quilting, baking, reading (especially her Bible), plastic canvas and crochet work, gardening, board and card games as well as everything that involved her beloved family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, located at 503 North Main Street, Belton, Texas 76513 from 5pm – 7pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Belton Church of Christ, located at 3003 N Main St, Belton, Texas 76513, at 12pm.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.

Lillian Doris Wilhite will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
