Lillie Garcia

Lillie Flores Garcia, age 83 of Belton, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at a local care facility. Services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery.

Lillie was born on February 2, 1937 to Bill and Francisca Flores in Gonzales, Texas. She married Pedro (Pete) Garcia and enjoyed 50 beautiful years of marriage together. She was a physical therapy aide and owned her own cleaning business. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Francisca Flores; her loving husband, Pedro (Pete) Garcia; brothers, Ray Flores, Alvin Flores, Joe Flores, David Flores and Raymond Flores; sisters, Eloise Flores, Connie Macharro, and Rose Casanova; and son, Ernest (Ernie) Garcia.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sisters, Frances Dominguez, Tenie Perales, and Alice Groff; sons, Pete Garcia Jr., Rudolph Garcia, and Ray Garcia; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 6 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
