Lois Martin

Services for Lois Garner Martin, 101, of Belton will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Baisden officiating. Interment will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Lois was born on January 9, 1911 to the late Frank and Daisie Heartfield Garner at Belton.

She was a secretary for Belton Junior High School for many years and a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Belton.

She married Alton C. Martin in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. Martin died Tuesday morning at a local care center.

Survivors include one son, Dan Martin of Belton one daughter, Jenny Joiner of Star one grandchild two greatgrandchildren and two greatgreatgrandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 68 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
