Loma Dawson

Funeral services for Loma Ruth Dawson, 89, of Temple will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Lillian Hinds officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Bartlett City Cemetery.
Mrs. Dawson passed away March 29 at a local nursing home.
Loma was born July 31, 1925 in Waco to Robert E. and Mabel (Edwards) Barron. Loma married Tommy Henry Dawson on March 1, 1957, he preceded her in death in February 1989. She worked in the Scott & White Ophthalmology Department for 37 years as a computer operator. Mrs. Dawson was a member of Meadow Oaks Baptist Church in Temple for 30 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Brenek of Temple; a granddaughter, Laura Brenek of Temple; a grandson, Brad Brenek and wife Dawn of Flower Mound; 2 great-grandchildren Bailey and Blake Brenek of Flower Mound.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00-11:00 am on Thursday before the service.
