Lowell Trombley

Funeral services for Lowell Walter Trombley, 86, Temple will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Burial with military honors will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Trombley passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at a local hospital.
Lowell was born January 19, 1932 in New Richmond, Wisconsin to Walter J. and Emma (Douville) Trombley. He proudly enlisted in the US Army in January 1950 and served until his honorable discharge in November 1953. Lowell moved to Texas in 1976. He enjoyed farming and carpentry.
Mr. Trombley is preceded in death by two sons, Marvin Trombley and Douglas Brockwell Trombley and a brother-in-law, Edward Germain.
He is survived by his sons, Dave Trombley and wife Valerie, Gary Trombley and husband James Gorka, and Warren Trombley; daughters, Mary Caudy and husband Bruce, Susan Dippel and husband Keith, Lynnette Waidelich and husband Jesse, Rita Henke and husband Marvin, Fern Wusterhausen and husband John and Mona Robl and husband Erik; a brother, Melvin Trombley and wife Alice; a sister, Annmarie Germaine. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
