Lynda Yost

Lynda Faye Yost, age 69 of Belton, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.

Lynda was born on April 6, 1952 to Nieves and Francis Hernandez in Georgetown, Texas. She worked at Temple College and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chuck Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, Joe Reynaga, Lewis Reynaga, and Johnny Reynaga.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Hernandez; son, Josh Yost; granddaughter, Emily Yost; nieces, Debbie DeWeese, Tammy Moyer, and Theresa Hernandez; and nephew, James Hernandez.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Melissa Hurta and family and Mary Hernandez for their love and support through this difficult time.

A time of visitation will be held from 1 pm – 2 pm, prior to the service Tuesday, at the funeral home.
