Maxine Tessmer

Services for Maxine Tessmer, 88, of Temple will be at 11:00 am Friday, January 11, 2013 at Heartfield Funeral Home. Interment will follow in North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Tessmer passed away Saturday, January 5 at her home.

Maxine was born on June 7, 1924 in Richland Springs to Charles Edward and Nettie Vivian Lewis Bowersock. She graduated from Richland Springs High School in 1941. Maxine married Ed Tessmer on December 23, 1943 in Temple. She was a loving homemaker for her family and known by all who loved her as Memama. Her home was often the gathering place for friends and family, she loved having everyone around her. Maxine was a charter member of Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tessmer was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Mike Tessmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Tessmer Heath of Maypearl a sister, Marjorie Munnsell of Temple a niece, Sandra Munnsell Bynum 4 grandchildren, Mindi Gibbs and fiance Brian Nagy, Michele Graf and husband Chris, Kelli Evans and husband Stephen and Chase Tessmer and 7 great grandchildren, Ashton, Aieryl and Avery Gibbs, Heath Kinsler Max Graf, and Lyberti Lynlee Evans.

The family will receive visitors from 6:008:00 pm Thursday, January 10 at the funeral home.
