Michael Clinton Vargeson, 72, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, and Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on January 19, 2021. He entered this world on October 29, 1948 in Blossburg, PA, born to Clinton Vargeson and Mary Weiskopff Vargeson Ludlam.
He graduated from Elkland High school in 1966. He attended RIT. He moved to Texas in 1971 and married Patricia in 1972. He worked at the post office for 30 years and after retiring he worked with computers and helped raised several children.
He was an avid Christian and loved the Lord.
He loved his family, fishing and telling the best jokes.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Elsenburg Vargeson; daughter Brandy Vargeson Serna; son-in-law Nick Serna; daughter Amber Eads; son-in-law James Eads Jr; Grandchildren: Brittany Bunting, husband Dustin Bunting, Emily Serna, Kristopher Eads, Ashley McNamara, husband Logan McNamara. Great-Grandchildren: Bella Bunting, Ethan Michael Bunting, and Payton Bunting. Brother and sister-in-laws James and Darelene Elsenburg, and Johnie and Bernice Elsenburg, sister Joyce Graeff and husband Rob Graeff, brother Quentine Ludlam of New York, brother Kevin Ludlam of New Jersey. Several nieces and nephews, and many loving, borrowed children and families.
There will be a memorial service held at the First Baptist Church of Troy, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 am. Please wear a mask and adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
