Susie Fuller passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, losing the fight to Leukemia.
Susie started out as the daughter of WA and Millicent Prewitt, the second of six children, two girls and four boys. Born in New Orleans on Nov. 30, 1939, she moved with her family to Temple, TX in 1950, when she was in the sixth grade. She attended Saint Marys School and Temple High School she was part of the graduating class of 1957. She attended college in Tulsa, OK.
She married, Odis Dean Fuller on Feb 9, 1958, in Tulsa. She soon started building her family it started with six children, grew to 28 grandchildren and now includes 15 great grandchildren, many spouses and friends. She was all about family, and it was a good thing because there are many of us. They provided a loving home and a strong support base for all of us, making their home in Harker Heights, then Temple and Belton, TX.
Susie made her career in accounting, first in banking, then working for the Dept. of Defense at Fort Hood as a Budget Analyst for 31 plus years. She liked to travel and was a member of the Bluebonnet RV Club and the Wildflower Antique Car Club. She was a proud supporter of Law Enforcement, especially since her husband was a Texas State Trooper for 31 years.
Susie was a devout Catholic who shared her Love for Jesus Christ with everyone she met. Susie was involved with her church community first as part of St Marys as a child, St Josephs Catholic Church in Killeen, St. Lukes parish in Temple, then as part of Christ the King in Belton. She was very involved with St Marys Catholic School, first as a student herself, then with her daughter, some of her grandchildren, and even some great grandchildren attending school there.
She was preceded in death by her husband Odis Fuller and her brother Raymond Prewitt, her parents WA and Millicent Prewitt. She left behind a very large family

Services will be held at Christ the King Church, 210 E. 24th St. Belton, TX on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM. A Vigil Rosary service will be held at Christ the King on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 7:00 PM
