Nancy Marquez

A Rosary for Nancy "Mom" L. Marquez, 69, of Belton will be recited at 6:00 pm, Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Chapel in Belton with a memorial service to follow. Father Aloysius Nzewke will be officiating.
She passed away peacefully on June 2, 2015 at a Florida hospital surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born on October 20, 1945 in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania to the late Louis & Lauretta (St. Yves) Pasteur. Nancy was a fun loving and welcoming person. She enjoyed having people over and hosting large meals for family and friends. Nancy's hobbies included crocheting, arts and crafts and she loved to dance. She loved road trips, especially those that ended at the ocean. She worked in home health care as an LVN for many years but was most proud of being a homemaker. Nancy was a Catholic and had lived in the area since 1980.
She is preceded in death by one great-grandson, Junior.
Survivors include 2 sons, Tomas Marquez of Temple and John Ray "Juan" Soto of Belton; 4 daughters, Justina Marquez of Temple, Juanita Millian and Maria Rangel, both of Lakeland, FL, and Heather Herrera of Temple; 1 brother, John Pasteur; 16 grandchildren, Pedro, Joey, Justin, Eliana, Solinda, Tito, Tatiana, Anastacia, Joseph, Tomas, Alicia, Rosalina, Able, Jr., Brittany, Juan, Catalina and one on the way; 8 great-grandchildren, Pedro Jr., Kelly, Ernie, Adriana, Jacob, Anastyns, Keyshawn, Alina and one on the way. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, June 12 from 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, June 13 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Chapel in Belton.
Services have been entrusted to Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
