Pamela “Pam” Gale Fagan, 63, of Belton, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Pam was born on May 7, 1963, in Harvey, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, to Jack Guess Jr. and Ellen Elizabeth Millican. She attended Central Texas College, where she studied nursing. Before beginning her nursing career, Pam served in the United States Army for three years and later worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In 2009, she found her true calling when she became a nurse. Caring for others came naturally to Pam, and she gave wholeheartedly of herself to the residents entrusted to her care.

On March 2, 1997, Pam married the love of her life, Phillip Fagan. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and the simple things that brought her the most joy.

Pam was especially proud of her sons and the paths they chose in life. She loved giving to others, cooking Sunday meals for her family, and settling in with a good book. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she looked forward to everything that came with the season. She also had a special place in her heart for her animals. She loved her dogs, Saber, Colt, and Laurel, while her cat, Bullet, was truly her joy.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Guess Jr. and Ellen Millican; brother, Billy Guess; and sisters, Peggy Arnold and Shirley Chavez.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Phillip Fagan; sons, Alberto Crespo Jr., Jesus Crespo, and Joshua Fagan; daughter, Melissa Beckett; sisters, Donna Willenberg and Regina Sanchez; grandchildren, Rachel Morris and wife Lauren, Alyssa Morris, Josh Morris, and Hunter Sepeda; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her beloved grand-dogs.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Scott & White Hospital and everyone involved with hospice for the kindness and care shown to Pam and her family. 

A funeral service will take place on Monday, September 14, at 11AM at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton. A graveside will shortly follow at Central Texas State Veterans' Cemetery.
