Pearl Gober

Pearl Gober, age 91, went to be with her Lord on October 29, 2024.

Visitation with the family will be at Harper Talasek Belton from 6 – 8 pm on November 4, funeral services will be held the next morning at Harper Talasek Belton at 10 am on November 5. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery.

Pearl was born on August 10, 1933, to parents Roy Eaton and Josephine (Gavit) Eaton in Llano, Texas. In 1952 she was married to Tommy J. Gober Sr. They were blessed with daughter Tina and son Tommy Jr. Their lives were full of love and laughter. Pearl was a loving caregiver and homemaker to her family, and she enjoyed raising her children and helping raise her grandchildren. She was “Nana” to her own grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many neighborhood children as well.

Pearl was a wonderful cook and enjoyed caring for her family by cooking them delicious meals. She was full of stories and was a natural born storyteller. She will be remembered for her heart full of love and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tommy Gober Sr., her son Tommy Gober Jr., brother Roy Wayne Eaton, sister Lois Preece, sister Gladys Wood.

Left behind to cherish Pearl’s memory are her daughter Tina Henson and husband Butch; grandchildren Kristi and Scott Eck, Bryan Gober, Carrie and Ben Riddell, Chelsea Henson; great-grandchildren Kori and Jose Silva, Brenden Lisenko, Brent Irwin, Colton Gober, T.J. Riddell, Peyton Riddell, Everly Dodson; great-great-grandchildren Noah Sanders, Nathan Sanders, and Jackson Gober.
