Richard Allen Snyder, 13, of Belton was born November 20, 2003 in Auburn, New York to Richard W. and Hollie D. (Fryar) Snyder. He and his family moved to Texas shortly after he was born. He attended Belton schools and was a seventh grader at South Belton Middle School where he played on the football team and Spanish was his favorite subject. Richard loved to play football and cheer on his favorite team, the Seahawks.
Richard was a very active child who loved to ride bikes, skateboarding and being a dare devil. He was everyone's friend and enjoyed spending time with his friends playing Pokemon Go, Black Opps, Bey Blades and anything outside. He will be remembered for his kind and loving nature towards everyone he met. Richard was an organ donor and on his birthday he gave the gift of life to the many who received his organs.
Richard passed away on November 20, 2016 at a local hospital.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Richard and Hollie Snyder; 2 sisters, Racheal and Melissa Snyder; grandparents, Ruth and Henry Fryar, Don and Linda Hicks; Aunt Michelle and Uncle Buck. His is also survived by many loving family members and his best friends, Brylcon Gilliam, Stanley P-Biddy, and Anthony Shelton.
There was a memorial service and balloon release held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Yettie Polk Park in Belton. No other services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers please donate to the "Richard SNYDER-Belton" Go Fund Me account to help support the family during this difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Haper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
