Robert Briscoe

Services for Robert Eugene Briscoe, 56, of Belton will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 19, 2014 with Brother Jay Thomas officiating. Burial will be private.
Robert passed away at his home in Belton on Thursday, July 17, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Robert was born on August 18, 1957 in Soulac, France to Billie and Martha Ragan Briscoe. He was a lifelong resident of Belton. Robert worked in construction as a tape and floater.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1972 and two brothers, Billy Briscoe in 2003 and John Hamilton in 2011.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Louise Bigelow of Belton a brother, Darryl Briscoe and wife Vicki two sisters, Linda Robinson and husband Rodney, and Sandra Powers and husband William and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of customary remembrances that donations be made to Scott and White Hospice, Scott and White Foundation, 2401 S. 31st St., Temple, Texas 76508 and please indicate that it is in honor of Robert.
